In this audio playground, I talked about the feeling of getting ready for senior prom. Senior prom is exciting for many reasons, last dance, last time getting dressed up with your friends, and nearing the end of your high school journey. There’s a lot of exciting things that go on during your senior year, and prom is one of the biggest ones. It’s a time where everyone is eager to see eachother with the long formal dresses, the venue decorated to the designated these, and overall the time and effort it takes to go to prom.

In my experience that I talked about in the audio playground. Being able to wear a long formal dress that fits my own personality without anyone judging, is the best feeling. I talked about how I wanted to wear a white dress, which was one I’ve wanted for many years. I also mentioned the process of getting ready. I wanted my hair to be straight with a slight bounce curl at the ends to give a simple blowout look, and my makeup being a simple smokey eye and a bronzy face, made me feel classy. And the heels being a nude color with minimalistic jewelry that matches the gems on the side of the dress. Overall, I wanted every detail to be simple, so the dress can be the main statement.

With prom being a mixture of anticipation and excitement, everyone wants to make sure their hair and makeup (if you do any) looks the best it ever has. The time and dedication of working on trials for the hair and makeup for months all comes down to one night. After getting all ready, I was excited to start a night I would never forget because, the night ahead is full of laughter, dancing, and a sense of closure of celebrating with your friends just before graduation.
